NOTICE OF 2026 PROPOSED BUDGET, AMENDMENT TO THE 2025 BUDGET, AND PROPOSED RATE INCREASE FOR COPPER MOUNTAIN CONSOLIDATED METROPOLITAN DISTRICT

                NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a preliminary 2026 budget and an amended 2025 budget have submitted to the Copper Mountain Consolidated Metropolitan District.  A copy of such preliminary and amended budgets are on file at the offices of Copper Mountain Consolidated Metropolitan District, 477 Copper Road, Copper Mountain, Colorado, where same is open for public inspection.   Any interested elector may obtain a copy of the preliminary and amended budgets by email request to clerk-treasurer@coppermetro.org.  Such preliminary and amended budgets will be considered at a public hearing during a meeting of the Board of Directors to be held on November 21, 2025, at 8:30 AM at 477 Copper Road, Copper Mountain, CO or virtually via Zoom (details can be found below). Any interested elector of the District may file or register any objections to the preliminary or amended budgets at any time prior to the final adoption of the budgets.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, pursuant to Section 32-1-1001(2)(a), C.R.S., to the customers of the Copper Mountain Consolidated Metropolitan District and all other interested persons that the Board of Directors of the Copper Mountain Consolidated Metropolitan District may consider increasing the District’s water and wastewater tap fees and other charges and establishing one or more new charges at same meeting.  Any customer or other interested person may appear at said time and place for the purpose of providing input, comments or objections regarding any proposed increase/new charge.  Information regarding any proposed increase/new charge may be obtained from the District office by email request to clerk-treasurer@coppermetro.org.
